It's always good insurance just in case I have to be out of town on election day.

There's another reason I have heard voting absentee is good insurance this year. I photocopied my marked ballot before mailing it in. Just in case.

all of us were advised to vote absentee to get them in early becuase chances were we would not make it to vote on Nov. 2 becuase of the lines we are expecting.
