Anyone else having "sleep issues"?
God, will I ever go back to a normal sleep pattern? I don't think I've gone to bed at a normal hour since the first debate. Sheesh!

Maybe after the election, I hope...

4. I haven't had
a normal sleep patten since the Clark CCN days ... doubt I will until this election is over. Until then, I read, I urge, I offer an occasional talking point ...

I have two sons, 19 and 16 .... yeah, I'm worried, OK/

5. insomnia
I don't sleep well anyway, but I have had even more problems as the election draws nearer. I had trouble "napping" whenever a debate was going to be on. I think there are many people out there that are very anxious. Soon, we will be able to be proud of our president when Kerry walks into the office, but until then, I don't believe the Rethugs will go quietly into the night, and that scares me!

7. Yes.
It's even worse in the last week to the election. It's not only affecting my sleep, but I've pretty much forgotten how to cook and the laundry is piling up too.

Less than a week left to go now.

9 times on TNT, and surfing on my laptop. My toddler should be up at 6. Can't concentrate on my law schol stuff, can't sleep, having 'digestive' problems....

Kerry beter win, or I might have a freakin' heart attack...

And I'll get up an hour early to check the forums.

So no, not sleep issues, more like addiction issues.

11. For the last 3 years...............
NOT due to the Bush Administration though oddly enough. I had a spinal fusion in April 2002 that didn't work out too well. Constant pain is the culprit for me. I can't get more than 4 hours a night. So I'm just RISING, while you folks haven't hit the bed yet. I always take a nap in the afternoon, so that helps. There is no cure for this, what's done is done. So this is whatI have to look forward to for the rest of my life.Oh well, as long as DU is here.........

It's 5:08 and I'm still wide awake - not good for the physical and emotional well being. Shrub has that effect on people.

13. I've got to work on this sleep thing.

I'll be poll watching, so that means getting up early in the morning and staying alert all day until after the polls close. Not my usual pattern. But I'll probably be too worried to sleep anyway.

14. Same here
I think I have to be at attention all the time, or something will happen and we'll lose. I'm in a constant state of alertness; well, that is, until I drop from exhaustion and sleep around three hours, usually from around 9am to 12p.m. I hope we get lots of great and easy sleep November 3rd.

19. tell me about it! 2 hours in the last 36 or so
have occasional insonia, but not like this! I thought I'd be dragging today, but actually was fine, feeling more chipper than usual, and here I am at 3 something am still not ready to sleep. maybe just a touch of manic cycling, or maybe a strange exhuberance and living and breathing this election. I feel like I'm sitting here spinning my wheels, but can't pry myself away from du, may miss something vital to campaign with you know;) I feel like I ought to go out to Kinko's to copy fliers and put them up under the cloak of night. my mind wants to jump into action, but my body's resisting. I need to work on this mind over matter thing.

seriously, I am up most nights 'til at least 1 or 2 reading DU, thinking, wringing my hands, thinking, beating up on myself for not doing more earlier, it's all my fault if Kerry loses, and tell myself I must rest up to be ready to GOTV full steam ahead. so now I feel better that I've decided to drive to the DNC headquarters here and Moveon tomorrow to give them cash in hand, always could use more, especially with the proper postage potential problem for absentees, and the WA DNC said they'd try to cover the remaining postage if necessary-hope the post office works with them on this.

26. Yes, sit bolt upright at 4:00 a.m. wanting coffee and
the computer to check the political news, in case something major happened during the night.

Seriously, for those who are worried about sleep, I have been using Melatonin (3 mg) for years and years. It takes about 3 weeks for your body to get used to it, then it will put you to sleep, let you get at least 6-7 hours, and doesn't leave your groggy in the morning...it's all natural and non-addicting...buy at Wal Mart, no, not at Wal Mart, buy at local drugstore.
