That thread disappeared long ago. It would be a pity if any missed this wonderful essay.

The Good Doctor has been hiding out at ESPN for the last few years, including a few good political nuggets in his sports coverage. I hoped he was about to get back into political writing. His talent is well suited to recording the grotesquery of Bush & co.
