Julia Thorne question. Can anyone help?
I had been under the impression that Julia Thorne and John Kerry had parted on amicable terms and that she was said to support his candidacy although she wants to stay out of the limelight. Can anyone direct me to an article that says this? The reason is on another board there are some nitwits claiming that John Kerry abused his first wife. I would like to refute this. Thanks.

2. I don't have the link...
The following is a re-hash of various articles I have read.

Julia was not up for the political spotlight in John early political career. (Lt. Gov.) They parted amicably and to this day are good friends.

Appearing in various film clips of many films/videos of John Kerry's life and times, you can see David Thorne (Julia's Brother), who was Kerry's roommate in college, and are life long friends.

My question to the stupid freeper is: If John Kerry abused is first wife, do you think the wife's brother would still be friends w/ JFK? Explain that stupid Freeper?

3. JT apparently suffered from depression years ago--
(when treatment options were not so simple...?) and has written a few books about it & us happily remarried.

No scandal there. They must've done someting well- their daughters are evidently lovely women.

4. Pig Poker
To parapharse Hunter S. Thomson or maybe not, "If you're going to call somebody a thieving pig fucker, you damn well better be able to produce the pig." Let the nitwits prove it before you spend time refuting it. I have a feeling the information is coming from that Scaife rag in Pittsburgh, which has a tenuous relation with the truth. Read this for a good laugh.

I love the part about the annulment affecting the Kerry daughters' legitimacy. It is so Henry the VIII and so inaccurate. Google marriage tribunal annulment and read about the Church's position regarding the children of annulled marriages.

Kerry has said his first divorce - like most if not all - was very painful. Julia Thorne wrote a book about her depression and the impact it had on her marriage.
