2. Remember 1989?

Remember how the East Germans were crossing the border into West Germany for Western goods? It was a sign that something was profoundly wrong with the system. Now Americans are crossing into Canada; isn't it apparent that it's an analogous situation and the same kind of sign? When people cross borders to fulfill their needs because those needs can't be met at home, it is a manifestation of the impact of bad policies at home.

And I can drink with friends, not being 21 and all. And to get a flu shot, despite the fact that I am a healthy young person. I got it last year, and am not risking that crap again.

7. I should laugh except that I am crying.

My husband is one of those who really needs a flu shot and whom I guess probably won't get one the way things look. I don't renege the young and healthy and anyone else who can get one. Go for it because at least you won't get sick and spread it to those of us who can't get shots and are at risk.
