1. Wow, that's a pretty smart move
"While the movie contained uncensored profanity, Whalen said he's not concerned about action by the Federal Communications Commission. That's because the same law that requires the company to carry public access programming protects it against the content of the programming."

5. Oh please
Public Access in NYC is porn during late-night hours. No restrictions on content. If MM is cool with this, there is nothing regulators can do to stop it.

Clever boy, that Moore.

3. Huh?
So, Time-Warner ORDERED the film to be shown on ALL its PAC's? No.

So, Time-Warner is an open and unabashed supporter and donor to the Kerry campaign? No.

So, Time-Warner had a hand in the development of and intended distrbution of Farenheit 9/11? No.

The two situations are apples and oranges. I think you see a double standard where none exists.

10. Also, There's a Connection To The Bush Administration As Well
The producer and the guy who does the voiceovers for Stolen Honor has connections to the Bush administration. All it is is a really long attack ad on Kerry.

4. I don't have cable, so I never see any public access stuff..

The public airwaves are being used for a political smear campaign which is not even factual (whereas F 9/11 is). They are still getting their smear campaign going though, in the format of a faux "news" show.

6. F9/11 has been fact checked to death and MM never called it a "News Story"
He is pretty up front that it is an opinion piece supported w fact.

On the otherhand, Sinclair and "Stolen Honor" are pushing their glorified Swiftboat Ad as "News" - when it has been discredited already as editing Kerry to make him appear to say things he didn't say, and with witnesses who have been disproved by MSNBC and Nightline, with ties to Bush admin and Rev Moon.

7. Not the same at all.
A public access shows on cable is far different from a network of broadcast stations.

We are better than that.

8. Agreed.
I'm sure TENS of people saw the broadcast.

Broadcasting political films on cable access is the equivalent of advertising with permanent marker in a bathroom stall.

9. You obviously don't understand PA TV.
If someone wanted to AIr Stolen honor with it's stolen footage they could. It's not comercial TV. It also barely ever gets watched but any member of a community can get something played on PA tv. Thta's how it works. So if you are so inclined you can take your copy of stolen honor on in to your area PA and have it run.

Good luck.
