If Bush were to stay in four more years....
Anyone want to tease this out? What if the voters decided
to leave the guy in intentionally (even Dems) for four more years...what's the best and worst that could happen in your
opinion?

10. and nightmarish
that's very true. Evidence: Clinton's second term (at least the Monica part), Reagan's (Iran-Contra) and Nixon's (Watergate). I rest my case.

2. best: rest of world liberates us - worst: earth blows up

That's also the best and worst that can happen regardless of who is installed as the figurehead.

3. I'll move to canada! I have this reoccuring dream about the
election next year, it's a landslide against Georgie Boy, americans hand him the most humiliating defeat in election history! I've been on chat rooms with ppl who voted for the knitwit puppet last election say they vow to vote for anyone but bush! I know ppl who didn't vote last election who vow to vote anyone but bush! I think this election will see one of the largest turnouts of voters in history!

5. "it's a landslide against Georgie Boy" sounds great...
But , as we all know it's all about how the votes are counted.

6. that's certainly true.
I have a choice of using a touch screen or a punch card
on Oct. 7's CA recall. I'm punching this time because
don't know if the touch screens are safe from tampering
and have a paper trail.

7. Democracy in the US will be dead after 4 more
It's precarious enough as it is...now, I expect the window dressing of candidates and voting to continue, but there will be such a massive sellout of the goverment to private interests that the country will probably never recover.

If the Dems want to win in '04, security is the #1 issue to tackle. Everything else is massively less important.

13. One more for the collection:

This one's the most provocative. The rich pukes are in the car (also notice how WHITE they are, if they were any whiter they'd look like solidified White-out(tm). Guess who those in line are: The rest of us if Bush, the repukes, corporate america, NAFTA, and the FTAA all have their way.

16. the world will end
It is said that if we don't do anything about
the emmissions going on by 2100 all the ice
caps in the world will be melted. Water World
anyone?

There will be war, death, pestilence and plague.
No one will have any kind of life and there will
be armed insurrection in America. Canada will
shoot Americans fleeing to sanctuary and the
power leader of the world will be Brazil.

The Pope believes he is the anti-Christ. Honestly.
So do I.

19. My bet is that......
.....the '04 election will be cancelled "Because to have an election at this crucial moment would disrupt our War on terror.".....and what is more the American people will buy it.

He does have the power to do that.

His record shows that he would.

21. I think I'll be singing
"Oh Canada"...haha, anyone here see that Simpsons episode recently where they called America too war like so they sang the Canadian national anthem instead?

Anyways, all kidding aside, Canada will look to be a very tempting option. Not only are they showing themselves to be more socially progessive, but they're doing better than us economically as well.

I have noticed that there are quite a few that didn't bother to vote last time, that are so disgusted by the way things are, and are actually looking forward to voting against him in '04. I'll do my best to make sure these people register and then vote democratic!

I was amazed by the reaction towards Bush in the other thread by people in NE of all places! That's good news. While it doesn't necessarily mean Bush will lose those states, there is some indication that ordinary people are starting to wonder "what the hell is going on?"
