4. Why is it that the thought police dominate this site????

I really enjoy DU, but the continuous presence of the "Thought Police" really pisses me off some times. Any time anyone posts anything suggesting that Kerry might not win, they are branded a "Freeper".

I have voted Dem in every election since I was 18. My family has produced Democratic elected officials, and I support the Democratic party on all levels. However, I am not convinced that Kerry is going to win. I have never seen such an alliance of evil as the Pukes have put togwether this year.

Last night on the news, they covered stories of vote fraud in several states. The Pukes aren't even trying to hide what they're doing!!!! Even scarier, most people don't seem to care!! Here on DU, we rail against it all the time, yet the average American seems totally oblivious to what's going on. One older lady in Florida was on the news last night furious that her name had "somehow" not appeared on the voter list. Her comment "This is America and I'm not being allowed to vote." should have been a wake-up call. Yet, unfotuantely, too many Americans were probably too busy checking the TV guid to see when "Fear Factor" was coming on to notice.

If refusing to put on my rose-colored glasses makes me a Freeper, then so be it. I knew that the Pukes were trying to stomp out any dissent. We shouldn't be doing it here, too.

Being new myself, I have to be really careful as to what I say. Just because someone has a low post count, dosen't mean they are a freeper!

THinking before you type will surely help alot of us, who feel afraid to post on certain topics.

I would think that if you are promoting tolerance, you would be more tolerant of more passionate and emotional people, and not accuse them of policing thought, or this site. Rather, you would exhibit the tolerance you would like to see, by avoiding name calling.
