The emerging links that put Peter Mandelson in the story about the failed Equatorial Guinea coup plot which has seen Sir Mark Thatcher arrested and charged with involvement may be connected to this man:

Whelan's real name is PAUL LOWY and he has a background in Middle East journalism and Arab politics.

He may be the main link man between Peter Mandelson, Simon Mann and the Iraqi military officer who supplied the WMD/45 minutes dud intelligence that led to the UK's participation in the Iraq war.

The emerging story in London is that Mann's contact in the Iraq military was a key informant who was Whelan's former alibi when he was arrested in Baghdad prior to the first Iraq War in 1991 and charged with subversion.

This is an emerging story in London at the moment. Looking out for the internet link and will post.

He and Greene were charged with trafficking cocaine in the UK in 1981. He went to rehab, she was deported to the US and now has hired lawyers to gag the story.

2. There's much, much worse to come on the Whelan story.

Allegedly he is a half brother to Cherie Blair and was mixed up with her in a London property fraud 20 years ago where the key players were Robert Maxwell, his brother in law Stuart Gold, jailed murderer Kenneth Noye and Neville awrence, father of murdered schoolboy Steven.

Whelan is also the alleged prime suspect of the murder of estate agent Suzie Lamplugh.
