Calling all Lie Wizards! Take a good look at GWB.....if you dare!
It seems that some of us are particularly good at detecting lies by looking at characteristics of speech and body language. We here at DU know that Mr. Bush is lying if his lips are moving. I wish we could get these folks together and have an "official" opinion about our great
leader's honesty for the masses to consider.

"Basic emotions are hard to conceal completely," O'Sullivan said. People may be afraid of being caught or happy that they are putting something over on another person, so some inappropriate emotion may flicker across their face.

The thinking clues occur because it's harder to lie than tell the truth, she said. To lie, people have to make something up. This can lead to hesitations in speech, slips of the tongue, lack of detail in what they are saying.

1. That's Bush!
He's the biggest lying sack of sh*t I've ever seen. Him and 'I never met you before' Cheney.

2. What about 'LIE WITCHES," hmmmmm. . .
I'm a BIG Harry Potter fan! And in that universe, the men are WIZARDS and the women are WITCHES.

Did anyone notice the BLINKING that Dubya did during the last two
debates? I thought that his eyeballs were gonna fall right out!
He'd been warned about smirking by his handlers, and that smirk 'transfigured' into some pretty wild blinking.

He was just plain angry. He couldn't give any sort of honest response to questions so he just blinked like mad. I'm certain that
he would have punched Kerry out if he could. Typical of that redneck sort of mentality. If you can't join 'em, beat 'em (up).

Very clear to me that he had no viable answers to anything.

That's all I have to say. *apparates out of here after transfiguring
Dubya into a blast-ended skrewt*

3. Bushocchio? Lie? Naw, really?

Like a carpet store FULL of rugs! While one might wonder why he doesn't do it better considering all the practice he's had, I don't. He's a son of privilege, an heirhead, an arrogant bully, and an authoritarian. Anyone who'd ever had the misguided temerity to call him on a lie would be punished. Hell, their whole family would be punished. This is a vengeful, arrogant, vicious family.
