So much for "delaying major offensives" until after the election.

Though, to be fair, that claim could have been propaganda intended for the insurgents.

I, however, am not interested in being fair, so I choose to believe that this is yet another Bush distraction. Bush kills people to distract everyone from his weak debate performances and his declining poll numbers.

1. This "major offensive" seems to be limited to
High altitude bombing of restaurants, and private homes. Obviously "high value" targets.


If this doesn't work I would guess a few stray bombs just might find there way to some schools and hospitals, but we would only hear about it much later on AlJazeera.

3. When was the latest "mass grave" really opened?
I am suspect of every bit of news coming from Iraq. BushCo lost no time moving the talk back to evil Saddam. Of course, Rumsfeld was giving "high fives" to Saddam in his palace at the time when these mass killings allegedly took place.
