Contact The Media - Tell Them Why Bush Is Bad For Diplomacy
Edited on Sat Oct-09-04 05:35 PM by InfoMinister
We're having a discussion about this over at the Kerry board. If you can please contact the media and tell them that Bush is bad for diplomacy and his attitude that we see at these debates is evidence of that. Wanna know why the UN wouldn't help us. Maybe it was because Bush acted like he did in the following videos.

Here's a video from the recent debate that shows when Bush interrupted the moderator.

We also remember all of those angry faces he made during the first debate and the "Let me finish!" comment.

Also, here's an interview Bush did in Ireland where he repeatedly said, "Let me finish!" and was extremely rude to this reporter.

The funny thing about this interview is this...

"Much has been made of Bush's interview late last week with Radio and Television Ireland. To be sure, there are plenty of interesting angles.

Bush was unusually testy about the reporters' penchant for interrupting his long, rambling answers (he ended up saying "let me finish" nine times). In fact, the White House was so irritated, it retaliated against the reporter by filing a complaint and against the network by canceling a scheduled interview with Laura Bush. How classy.

What's worse, the reporter that outraged the president, Carole Coleman, later admitted that she had to submit her questions to the White House in advance.

"he policy of the White House is that you submit your questions in advance, and so they had my questions for about three days. They knew I was going to ask tough questions and I think he was prepared for that."

How terribly embarrassing for the United States. We are led by a man who requires reporters to submit questions in advance?"
