What the Bush de-stablization of the world means to all of us
Our traditional allies, France and Germany and the peoples of many countries in the coalition understood that the Iraqi invasion was going to destablize the entire ME region. It has and the complete destablization isn't even finished yet. It will go on for at least a decade. Now just where do you think the people who can get out and give their families some hope for security and opportunity will go? They will try their best to immigrate to western nations and especially the United States where they are not likely to be subjugated to US bombings and more invasion. Now if you think we have a problem with Mexico, just what kind of problem will we have with this influx of displaced persons from all over the ME? Many will be educated, able to speak English as well, if not better than our President. Will we be able to tell who among the new immigrants really hate us? Our allies will be faced with even greater influx of refugees and immigrants because they are located near these tormented regions. There will be untold destablizations of social services and economic systems not to mention the social and cultural problems all across the world. These are the issues of foresight that seemingly none of our leaders are able to pathom.
