Original message
Attn: DU Vets, Civil Servants, Social Scientists and Professionals....

I just received this from someone I personally hold in very high regard and I know is held in high regard by many others and organizations. I am sure there are more than a few here that might be interested or know someone who would be in the message he sent to me. If you want more info and or to talk with the person who sent this to me, pm me. Note, the report in downloadable and is 38 pages long with lots of info and references. Very impressive.

Here it is:

You can review the attached press release that has
been compiled by military experts, retired military
brass, social scientists and professionals who have a
vital concern about the evasion of accountability of
the Bush Administration in response to several
investigations of the Iraq, Afghanistan and
Guantanamo.

The current draft can be reviewed on the website:

www.geocities.com/publiusresearch/

Collaborative efforts by "de-instituionalized"
military generals and officers, professors and
scientific researchers have contributed to this
inter-disciplinary report. We feel compelled to speak
out with out professional expertize in the face of
denials, distortions (spin) and deception that are
being politically manipulated to influence voters.

You are invited to review this report, submit
feedback, and improve the hypotheses that the evidence
and data suggests.

We do not expect unanimous consensus, but rather
stimulate your own investigations and conclusions
supported with data.

Respectfully submitted,

1. I agree that our country is in peril
and I am gratified that serious minded people are determined to document what are truly "high crimes and misdemeanors". I honestly do not think that treason is too stiff a categorization.

31. Is there any way to keep this at the top for just a couple of days?
This ties in to everything happening right now. Why are so many BS posts taking down posts that mean alot and that we all should be taking action on?

Whoops, so sorry, silly question. My Bad.

Who is playing, and on what field this weekend, and at what bar are we supposed to meet up at to watch?

oh and by the way, make sure that we all pay attention to what Laura and Teresa are wearing tomorrow night. Is it blue or red? Pink and or purple for the kids?

2. Thanks for the post
just downloaded the document for reading later. Sounds like a good read. From the pdf:
INTRODUCTION
This interdisciplinary study of legal, technical, and scientific research provides
strong evidence that the President of the United States and other key leaders in
command positions in the U.S. chain of command are guilty of authorizing and
directing war crimes.
For the past five months there has been a steady flow of shocking news of
atrocities and torture of prisoners of war (POWs) by US troops. The first accounts
of these atrocities were accompanied by the release of horrendous photographs of
Iraqi POWs being sadistically tortured by American prison guards at the Abu
Ghraib prison in Iraq. The administration has insisted that this criminal abuse was
limited to the prison at Abu Ghraib and was solely the responsibility of a few “bad
apples,” all of them lower-level enlisted guard personnel.
However, the widespread officially-reported and media-reported incidents, first
from Iraq, then Afghanistan, and now beginning to emerge through the accounts of
released detainees from Guantanamo in Cuba and other prisons, show that abuse
and torture has been widespread throughout the war zones and detention centers,
and that there has been culpable involvement of many in the military interrogation
function, with the full knowledge of the military and civilian chain of command,
all the way to the White House.

4. More from same individual that sent e-mail.......
Here is an additional convincing veteran's message
that may inspire doubters whose lives are on the line,
and skeptical people who have been holding back their
judgment. Kerry's supporters are showing up all over
the country and abroad in India, Indonesia, Eqypt and
Europe in my network. Additionally there are American
military veterans who know that who they can trust and
who they cannot trust as Commander in Chief of the
United States.

In my own experience in the military, I fortunately
could trust the judgment of my Commnander in Chief 50
years ago. If I were in the military today under
Bush, I would have ethical conficts, patriotic and
moral reservations about serving under Bush as
Commander in Chief. His moral piety has a dark side
that many people do not recognize. His denial and
distortion have deep psychological roots in his
childhood and younger years. His readiness to use
deception is documented by a colleague, Justin Frank,
who is the author of an perceptive book entitle "Bush
on the Couch." My own analysis of Bush and bin Laden
in 2001 while I was teaching in India is very parallel
to Justin Frank's analysis and conclusions.

I also hypothesize as a psychologist that Bush has
little conscious awareness of his unconscious need for
power, pattern of compensation for weakness, plus his
desperate attempt to deny, distort and deceive the
public about realities. I have deeply held
professional and personal evidence that he does not
want to face in militarily in Iraq, and domestically
in economic and social challenges that face citizens
daily.

I am aware that some of you have reservations and
discomfort about psycho-social views. Consequently,
let me encourage to respond with your best analyses
based upon reflection, respect and concern for both
the soul of the country and of the people of the
world.

James Wasser: Kerry Is True Commander in Chief

After serving in Vietnam as second in command on John Kerry’s first swift boat, PCF 44, in 1968–1969, James Wasser says he developed a deep respect for Kerry’s character and leadership.

“John Kerry was caring, compassionate and courageous,” Wasser says. “He didn’t back off anything. He didn’t ask for any special treatment and he didn’t give any. He is a true commander in chief. He never made one bad command decision when I was serving with him. That’s why we’re all still here today.”

As a veteran, Wasser says it’s important to him that Kerry has been in tough combat situations and knows what it’s like to come under fire. Kerry would think hard before sending future soldiers into war, says Wasser, and make sure they had enough equipment and support from other countries before going to war.

Thanks Anarchy 1999/ Just read the PDF and not only that, but
there was pills given out FDA approved for Malaria and I have the report that came down from 810 VA Headquarters that caused those
soldiers at Ft. Bragg to kill their wives. The drug was anti malaria and was Larimal or something like that, don't have the papers in front of me right now. It was determined it had PTSD effects if not worse.

These guy are not going out without one heck of a fight and it will be illegal I am afraid and also I don't think the Bunker Cheney has was to protect from a holocost of terrorists. I think it is a hole in the wall like the old cowboy outlaws used to have !

It would be equally good if intelligence agents or others could step forward with more convincing evidence related to the falsification of documents and other evidence, or the encouragement of production of such evidence, that was used to persuade the U.N., U.S. Congress, and the U.S. citizens of the need to invade Iraq.

47. We need to get this info out!
anarchy1999, thanks for posting this - I wonder if this is why many of our top brass have spoken out recently endorsing Kerry. It is horrifying to watch these atrocities taking place in the name of our country - we must find a way to unite and protest - it's our duty to be vocal and demand these activities stop and those in charge prosecuted.

This makes me so sick and ashamed, God help us.

More than 180 Former U.S. Ambassadors from Republican and Democratic Administrations Endorse Kerry

10/4/2004 10:38:00 AM

To: National Desk

Contact: Mark Kitchens of Kerry-Edwards 2004, 202-464-2800

WASHINGTON, Oct. 4 /U.S. Newswire/ -- United by a deep concern about the mounting failures of the Bush administration's foreign policy, more than 180 former United States Ambassadors who have served under Republican and Democratic presidents endorsed John Kerry for president on Monday.

At a news conference at the National Press Club, members of Ambassadors for Kerry-Edwards issued a letter stating, "We believe it is imperative to our national security that we change the leadership of the nation we all love and elect John Kerry and John Edwards." The statement criticized President Bush for needlessly squandering the good will and support of the world following the September 11 attacks and undermining our ability to win the war on terror by eroding our strong international alliances.

"The war on terror can only be won with the active cooperation of people and governments around the world," said Ambassador Sol Polansky, who represented the United States to Bulgaria, and served as a Foreign Service officer for almost 40 years before his retirement in 1990. "We've spent our careers building that kind of cooperation for the sake of our country's security. But in the last three years, the Bush administration has undermined the strong alliances American leaders worked half a century to build."
