My gaydar just went off. Sorry if I am offending anyone, but I think he's gay.

2. He's mediocre...
kinda cute. It's his mannerisms, like a soft-spoken guy at heart who is straining to be macho like his dad. He's really not like his dad.

5. Actually, he said he is a Republican because his father was.
He said that NASCAR is a Republican sport, and most Nascar dads fly their rebel flags and vote republican. He called it "Southeast aggression."

He's probably a decent guy, but his dad was awfully hard on him...I think he sent him to military school because he was a soft kid.

But he said he will vote bush, because he is a repub and his dad was a repub.

10. It works well for our side, too.
I know Democrats who would NEVER vote republican, simply because Dad was a Democrat, and that's why they are Dems. I know one old gentleman who is around 80 yrs old, who STILL votes Dem because his dad did, and the rest of his family members are republican, but don't you DARE question his affiliation with the Dem party, or you will set him off.

He's a country gent who hunts from his back porch. A good old dude. :-)

9. 60 Minutes showed film of him as a young kid through his teen years...
He seemed like he was destined to do anything but Nascar, and then dad sent him to military school.

12. Actually...
He took his crew to see F/911 during Sat. evening downtime before Sunday's race. IIRC it was in California. He looked right into the camera and told the viewing public to go see the movie. I almost fell off my chair.

I don't believe for a minute that he's actually a Repuke. I think he believes that's what is expected of him. JMHO

14. Exactly...
It seems that in many ways he is what he was expected to be. That's what I got from the show tonight, anyway.

13. I say that about Derek Jeter and A-rod
But as they say on Seinfeld, "Not that there's anything wrong with that."

(I am only prejudiced against NY Yankees) :P

15. Repukes purchased the NASCAR vote
They have been courting them for years. All the sponsors such as Dupont,
GM, Ford, Busch, are constantly beating on the drivers and crews to support repukes. The recent 150 billion dollar corporate tax giveaway sponsored by the repukes included millions for NASCAR track owners and billions for NASCAR sponsors.

Dale Jr is somewhat of a free spirit, as are many of the drivers, but they are under constant pressure from the sponsors. If you don't go along, you lose your 10 million a year ride. This is happening in most professional sports and even with college football and basketball coaches and announcers that the repukes have courted.
