1. Something is Happening Here - I Think It is Positive for Truth
I am literally watching at this moment this guy on MTP re-run.

Tim asks this guy legitimate questions (70 attacks a day on troops, only 5000 Iraqis trained, will you really be able to have elections, all straightforward).

This guy responds by spewing Bush's partyline. He doesn't answer the questions, he first is patronizing -- well I think what is really important to remember is this -- and then offers platitudes about freedom and democracy in Iraq. It is sickening. He claims not to support a candidate but then keeps harping on how we must keep fighting. My husband and I are yelling at the TV, saying how can this guy lead us there, he is completely out of touch with reality.

This Yahoo article does not support this guy at all -- it takes some of what he says, and then uses it to support the reality that Iraq is a mess. So, for once the media is not drinking the koolaid

2. I saw a clip of his talk with Russert.
Did Russert grill him on whether he thought troop increases would be necessary? He was supposed to have said something to that effect a few days ago before Allawi said no new troops would be needed. IT would be nice to hear it from his mouth directly.
