That nazi Michael Savage posts beheadings on his website. "I wouldn't recommend watching the beheadings I've posted on my website. But if you do watch them, know that you'll never be the same." What a disingenous asshole. He wants you to watch them and then somehow get so pissed off that you want to blow up Fallujah (like he does) and collateral damage be damned.

I'm sorry but if I can't even watch someone's knee being blown out on Monday Night Football, how am I going to stomach a beheading? I can't think of anything more fucking disturbing.

First of all, that's what the monsters want, and I won't give them one iota of attention for their brutality.

Secondly, out of respect for the family and friends of the victim, I wouldn't popularize such a disgusting thing.

Third, I take other people's warnings seriously. People who saw the first one said they were very sorry that they did, and advised against anyone else watching them. I took the wisdom of their advice.

I have a vivid visual memory. I know that if I watch one I will never be able to remove that image from my mind. Thus, I would rather not watch one. On yahoo image slideshows they had a picture of the terrorist with a knife just touching a hostage's neck and I thought that was too much for me. If the video is without sound I still wouldn't want to watch it, but if there was sound, that would send me over the edge.

I felt the same way about the Qusay and Uday photos and managed to avoid having the battered shells of those men in my head until some poster pasted the link right in the thread I was reading recently.

I take photos of killed or maimed civilians in a different light: the events shown are the measure of the karmic debt we, as a country, are working up. I want to share the burden of the full knowlege of what we are doing over there, if possible.

I did view what happened to Daniel Perle, journalist, way back when.

Since then, I chose NOT to support the beheaders by watching anything more. Besides, it somehow seems disrespectful to the dead. Likewise, and for the same reasons, I refuse to look at anymore pics of the torture victims. It was a disgrace for them; I will not further their embarrassment by "looking" at them in that condition. One glimpse for history/facts was enough.

On the other hand, I WILL view (up to the level my stomach/heart can take) the suffering of the innocent and dead Iraqi civilians so that I don't forget that they are human like me and didn't ask for what they got. Doing so reminds me that those people are not statistics/lab rats.

They are so grotesque and very disturbing. God, the people that commit these are undoutably savages but this still doesn't excuse us of our own crimes and the security situation that exists (er or the lack thereof) is our fault.

Too many deaths...and that too absolutely unecessarily.

I hope all these killers and terrorists are caught and I would even go as far as saying that death would be warranted, but ultimately true justice will also have the purpotraters of this war (our administration) in a prison cell as well at the least.

The video shows Armstrong facing the camera, sitting on the floor, wearing a blindfold and an orange jumpsuit, arms bound behind his back. Behind him stand a group of five black-clad terrorists wearing hoods and carrying weapons. One of the men reads a lengthy statement in Arabic for the camera. At the end of the statement, the terrorists lean down to hold Armstrong while the man who read the statement begins to cut Armstrong's throat with a knife.

Armstrong screamed horribly as blood began to gush from his throat. He struggled in vain against the brutal attack, but within moments his body grew still as his murderer continued to hack against the rent flesh of his neck.

Armstrong was kidnapped along with two other victims last Thursday from an upscale neighborhood in Baghdad by terrorist group headed by Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, a Jordanian member of al Qaeda.

Also kidnapped were American Jack Hensley and Briton Kenneth Bigley.

Zarqawi's terrorists have said they will murder all three men if the U.S. does not release "Iraqi women" they claim are being held by the U.S. at Abu Ghraib and Umm Qasr prisons.

The U.S. has denied it is holding any women at these prisons, though they are holding two women who had been involved in developing weapons of mass destruction for former dictator Saddam Hussein.
