It occurred to me this morning that the patients are running the asylum
- Malcontents, criminals, paranoids, sociopaths, fanatics, delusional, psychotics and religious zealots are in control of our country.

- Our democratic republic has never been perfect...but until the 2000 election we've always had a way to keep the really crazy people out of high office. We've been lucky to have a system of checks and balances that has maintained the coequal branches of government as intended by the Constitution and founders of this nation.

- Whether by fluke or design...that system was dismantled in 2000 when the American media, international corporations and the US Supreme Court conspired to install an unqualified dolt in office against the will of the people. Concurrently, the remaining branch of government that could have done something about it had already been hijacked in the previous decade by group of bullies who strong-armed and blackmailed any opposition into compliance.

- This drunken sod and person of privilege could have never attained the presidency through the normal democratic process of voting and ballot counting. His family and 'friends' had to purchase it for him and take it like pirates on the high seas. And now, Captain Bush* lives the good life (sleeping on fine french linens), sanctioned by God, as his fellow pirates loot, pillage, murder, burn, bomb and rape with impunity.

- The 'asylum' must be returned to the caretakers before the crazy ones burn everything to the ground and claim it was God's will.

1. Not being at all insulting, but ...
It took you four years to notice?

:)

4. Actually...I noticed four years ago...
...but it wasn't until lately that I've been able to 'accept' that the 'caretakers' have been locked away in a room somwhere and have lost complete control over the direction of our country. Some of the caretakers have actually joined with the crazy ones...pretending that everything is okay as long as they can keep the gasoline and matches out of Captain Bush's* shaking hands.

2. And imagine that POPPY is just as delusional about his son
as his son is about Iraq and about his own presidency.

The root of this cancerous power grab begins with POPPY BUSH!

6. It was interesting and disturbing...
...watching the eyes and gestures of the hundreds of prematurely released patients at the RNC convention. It didn't matter to them that what their 'leaders' were saying didn't make any kind of sense...their eyes rolled back in their heads...they applauded, cheered, giggled and frothed at the mouth. Bush* proclaimed 'gah, gah, boo boo, tweedle dum and the patients went wild with approval.

- It's disconcerting when you realize that they're allowed to vote.

8. Another example of the patients running the asylum...
Bush* started a war using (knowingly) forged documents. What's his punishment?

- Fade in Twilight Zone theme music.

- What ever happened to equal justice and the rule of law?

- Dan Rather is being burned at the stake for using a supposedly 'forged' document to expose the life of lies of GWB*.

- Is this nation suffering from collective amnesia? Have we so soon forgotten that Bush* used documents to justify war that he had been previously advised were forgeries? He knew they were forged and used them anyway.

- Crazy stuff.
