3. You're posting this at the wrong website...
...Guess you're lost. I'd suggest you Google "Free Republic" and follow the url's that appear on your computer display. It's that easy - there's nothing to it.

12. It was a late-night vent, not a "response"
I was annoyed at those posters, more than anything because people were responding to their ludicrous right-wing think tank ideas as though they deserved consideration, and the threads were not getting locked.

I thought there was unanimity among democrats that the public schools should not be destroyed with vouchers and that these flat-tax con jobs, like the "fair-tax bill" the poster mentioned (which was sponsored by 50 republicans and one DINO) were just that - con jobs.

Sorry, but I think allowing scumbag ideas fester in here, as they have in the mainstream media is dangerous. People start to swallow the catchphrases and lose the ability to see them for what they are - schemes to de-fund the public secot and put cash in the pockets of the rich.

If someone came on saying "Well, in my chuch, we love and support gays, but not their sinful lifestyle", they would be flamed and kicked off in a second - even though they are not actually gay-bashing, but expressing the details of their superstition system.

But come on with right-wing economic schemes to rip off the poor, and it's apparently okay, even though such gimmicks run counter to everything the democratic party has been about since Franlklin Roosevelt.
