scrubbie and the Seven Deadly Sins
Edited on Thu Sep-23-04 07:41 AM by rpannier
Here are the Seven Deady Sins (It comes from some fanatic website):

Pride is excessive belief in one's own abilities,

Envy is the desire for others' traits, status, abilities, or situation.

Gluttony is an inordinate desire to consume more than that which one requires.

Lust is an inordinate craving for the pleasures of the body.

Anger is manifested in the individual who spurns love and opts instead for fury. It is also known as Wrath.
his banishing of reporters who ask tough questions.

Greed is the desire for material wealth or gain, ignoring the realm of the spiritual. It is also called Avarice or Covetousness.

Sloth is the avoidance of physical or spiritual work.

OK Here's the scorecard on scrub:
1. Pride - scrub's inability to admit any mistakes his administration has made.
2. Envy - scrub wants to be a success. he resents that, with all that has been given to him, he's failed at everything.
3. Gluttony - Not in a food sense. But a power sense. scrubbie wants more and more power.
4. Lust - If you take lust in a broader direction, his desire for more wealth and power. (I know. I've broadened it to where it's essentially the same answer as Gluttony)
5. Anger - scrub banishes any reporter who asks tough questions, he threatens any government that doesn't do what he wants.
6. Greed - Easy one. Oil wealth. He wants more money for him and his cronies.
7. Sloth - How many days has scrub worked since taking office?
