It's time to raise taxes and embrace tough love
Many of us depend on the services funded by taxes and refuse too die
without a fight. Enough with the tax cuts. I will only vote for those
who understand that our taxes help support us that need them.

I refuse to be left to the charity of others when we have a good
program in place to support us that can't work.

1. those are mutually exclusive
raise taxes and no need for tough love. Accept tough love and increased taxes are not needed.

4. ....
Middle/lower class cuts are really what gets the economy going. The average return in the top 1% was about $100,000 over the next four years. Simply put, that's bullshit.

5. Tax cuts enacted since 2001 exceed $2 trillion
Time to bring some of that back.

The tough love is realizing that, yes, anyone who makes more than the median income is going to be paying more money. They survived paying those amounts a mere 5 years ago...
