Orange County (Ca) for Kerry Rally
There is an old saying...live long enough and you see everything. Well here it is for me. I do not recall a Democratic rally in this county before. The conservative grip on us is starting to ease, finally.

The Democratic Club of O.C. will host Orange County for Kerry Rally
Saturday, October 9th 11:am until 1:00pm at Hart Park, 701 S. Glassell, in the City of Orange. They have reserved half of this huge park for the event. We will then walk to historic Orange Circle(this is largest antique center in the state, a must-see if you have never seen it. All homes are on the national registry.)
Bring a picnic lunch.
For more information, call (714) 541-2354

This is a first and I can't wait!

4. Gelliebeans, Glad you are coming!
It is worth the drive for anyone who loves historic homes, a drug store (Watson's) with a counter and oldies music and a beautiful circular plaza with fountain and trees in the middle not to mention countless country shops. A beautiful place.

I hope we have a huge turnout.

3. Why are more and more rallies held in GOP territory?
To make the size of the throngs somewhat more manageable. Rallies at Democratic strongholds are simply too overwhelming and a danger of crowds crushing people(and we wouldn't want to lose Democratic voters seeing how 'close" it will be come November.)

6. I was born in Orange.
Kerry is taking the battle to the OC. Great! Hope Chris Cox whines about it....

8. When Cox is here, he never ventures out of Newport Beach.
One of my greatest memories is meeting Bill Clinton in 1994. He came to Santa Ana Civic Center to stump for Loretta Sanchez. No one but Clinton could come here to help defeat Bob Dornan!
