Sirius Subscribers Unite- Complain About The Hannity Ads

On Channel 144. I e-mailed them to inform them the reason I subscribed was so I could be free from hearing about Hannity. It will be a deal breaker for me when renewal time rolls around.

a guy calls a crisis hotline in a panic that he is addicted to listening to Hannity. Afternoons, Night Time on the Fox Radio Channel and Weekend Reruns. The counselor tells him there is "nothing Wrong with listening to Hannity." He says ok and hangs up. It is set to background music that is from the film "Excalibur." Sorry, I don't know the name of the music.

143 Is Talk left. It is ok but it is not as good as AAR. The Young Turks are really the only show I enjoy on Talk Left.

it is really a fact of that I enjoy their personalities. I usually listen to Majority Report. Occasionally, Sam and Jeaneane have a guest on that I am just not into and I will flip over to the Turks for a while. Ed Schultz is on against Randi but I have honestly never listened to him. I never turn away when Randi is on!

I actually don't know, as I never listen. I just got Sirius two weeks ago, with the vow that I would never listen to Hate Radio ever again. I have never been happier!

34. Then the approach would be to ask Sirius to substitute ads

that are more interesting to AAR listeners. The threat to drop Sirius because of of what the listener heard there is a bit counter-productive. I assumed that the broadcaster, in this case Sirius, chose the ads they run and where. You may be right and they just run whatever ad they choose on all channels simultaneously, but that some say they turn away for relief suggests otherwise.

My own view is that this would a rather misguided campaign to participate in. Taking the time to smack CNN around a bit for their "reporting" might be more useful than generating complaints "about" AAR content, or "from" AAE about Sirius.

Seems like misdirection.

Unless I am mistaken I think XM only runs certain AAR shows.

getting their asses kicked so the sirius people felt the need to advertise it with political junkies. but i think this is done in very poor taste on sirius's part. i've written them about it before. i'll do it again.

Why is it necessary to have an ad for Hannity on Air America? The ONLY reason I bought Sirius radio was so I didn't have to listen to the likes of Hannity, Limbaugh, Boortz and any other White House shill. I bought Sirius for AIR AMERICA....PERIOD. Please, couldn't you run a different ad on Air America? I find the Hannity ad offensive and disgusting. I'm just curious, do you run Al Franken ads on Sirius Right?
