And I've always wondered why others have used a similar analogy to deflect the criticism of the pundits. Remember the mid-term elections? How everyone else was expected to clearly define -- in a media climate that will not allow time for anything other than lavish praise for Bush -- complex and detailed plans for other people cleaning up Bush's mess. Once, just once, I'd like one of these candidates to say, "Hey, you forget something -- this is the mess HE'S made -- why are you pressuring me for a plan to clean up HIS mess when you don't feel compelled to even notice the mess? They did the same thing with the economy -- how are you Dem candidates going to fix it? No one said, how about we go back to what worked under Clinton? When we were in charge, we didn't have these problems. Bush created them and now you criticize US for not articulating a detailed plan to fix his mess? Why don't you ask Bush what his plan is?
