Dean at Brown...media distorts Kerry's message. Calls Bush dishonest.
http://www.turnto10.com/politics/3717963/detail.html

The former Vermont governor spoke at Brown as part of the school's 2004 Noah Krieger Memorial Lecture series. The crowd of mostly Brown students packed the auditorium and an adjacent room, where many watched Dean on big-screen TV.

Dean called Kerry a "forceful" Democratic candidate and, despite public criticism of the senator, denied that Kerry has flip-flopped on issues, such as the war in Iraq. Instead, he said, the candidate's message has been distorted and misrepresented by the media.

Dean received numerous rounds of applause and was followed out of the auditorium by a swarm of young, shorts and sandal-clad college students. Encircled on the college green, he signed autographs and pictures, shook hands, and received a hug, along with many thank yous. Dean said he felt like he was campaigning, and one student shouted, "We wish you were."

(I was impressed with this response)
He addressed one young woman's question regarding the state of foreign policy and the conflict in the Middle East, saying that the United States has an enormous opportunity to help.

"We're going to have to take American money and invest it in the West Bank after we can get this to some level of reduction of conflict," he told the crowd outside the auditorium."

4. Another great article about his speech, great reception.

Dean's speech at Brown met with hero's reception

SNIP..."The ex-candidate for the Democratic presidential nomination makes the case for Sen. John Kerry while working to get out the vote among college students.

Dean may have lost the Democratic presidential nomination to Kerry, but if winning the presidency of Brown University was decided by a vote of students, Dean would make a formidable foe.

Yesterday, the former Vermont governor received a hero's reception on the Ivy League campus, as more than 850 students overflowed the Salomon Center for Teaching to hear and cheer Dean. Hundreds of others who wanted to listen were turned away for lack of seats....."

6. I couldn't be more impressed ...
with Dean. He has (is) doing so much for all Democratic party candidates and especially so for Kerry.

Dean's not afraid to speak up and tell the truth. He has so much integrity and intelligence.

What a man!
