Possible LTTE: Comments ??
What's the big deal !!?? george bush took a free ride and failed to meet his commitment to serving the country.

Like the famous line from Casablanca, "I am shocked to learn that gambling is going on here."

The truth of the matter is that wealth in America has always meant privilege. The poor and the middle classes have always been expected to lay down their lives to protect the wealthy. It's been this way since long before the United States became an independent country. It is not as easy to escape from England's monarchy as many of us have come to believe.

Who is so naive to believe that royalty does not have its perks?

So it isn't so much that Mr. bush received special favors or that his Congressman father was able to pull a few strings. But a commitment made to serve must be honored. That's where the real problem lies.

While more than 50,000 Americans were killed fighting a senseless war in Vietnam, Mr. bush exploited his wealth not just for a safer place to spend the war, but more importantly to dishonor the commitment he made and perhaps worst of all, to cover it up with his lies. Mr. bush went AWOL from the Alabama National Guard and our system that caters to the children of privilege did nothing about it.

It's a sad state of affairs in America that such injustice remains; it's a sadder state of affair to have a pResident so lacking in moral fiber and character.
