Perfect Ad to hurt Bush's campaign. What do you think?
Edited on Wed Sep-08-04 01:50 AM by topdog04
You know how they said Kerry's boasts about Vietnam opened him up to the Swift Boat attacks. Well, Bush definitely opened himself to this. Plan of Attack is still on his campaign's "Recommended Reading List".

Spread the world. Hey MoveOn, please make this ad!

Visual: "How Bush let Bin Laden Escape" text over video clip of Bin Laden walking through that mountainous valley with his aide and his cane.

Voice Over: On Novemember 21, 2001, President Bush asked Don Rumsfeld to start working on war plans to invade Iraq.

Visual: Documented excerpt from Bob Woodward's 'Plan of Attack' (p. 5)

Voice Over: Within hours, Rumsfeld ordered General Franks to prepare a "commander's estimate" for Iraq and formally present it to him six days later, on November 27th.

Visual: Second excerpt including the text below, plus the adjoining sentence: "G--d---," Franks said, "what the f--- are they talking about?" (p. 8)

Voice Over: Franks was incredulous. They were in the midst of one war, Afghanistan, and now they wanted detailed planning for another, Iraq?

Visual: News headlines dated from late November: Bin Laden cornered in Tora Bora complex on Afghan-Pakistan border.

Voice Over: What's so important about the last week of November, 2001?

Visual: News headlines: World's most wanted man escaped between Nov. 28 and Nov. 30, by walking on foot into Pakistan.

Voice Over: That's the same week Bin Laden escaped from Tora Bora into Pakistan.

Visual: Bush looking like he really screwed up.

Voice Over: Bush's misguided focus on Iraq helped Bin Laden get away.

Visual: Smoking ruins at ground zero.

Voice Over: Don't let it happen again. Disclaimer.

1. I strongly suggest that you edit your subject line, as those who are
monitoring sites will not look kindly at the word "kill" in reference to Bush, no matter how metaphoric you meant it to be.... A search of Bush and the word you used is undoubtedly a routine search routine and we've all come to see how "literal" the ASSKROFTIANS have become....

just a suggestion....
