It's the Hurricane Frances academy awards brought to you by, pulsating pundits of death and destruction.......
Somebody should have taped all the drama queens, starting last night with Geraldo (almost) getting blown off a bridge BUT being saved in the nick of time by a hero cameraman. Oh Pleeeezzzzzeeee!!!!!
All the way into today, with the breathless performances of the "death and destruction watch crowd".
You could put it on a CD and sell it as "Something to watch when your smoking pot".
They're hysterical. When to start a "News Pundit Performance of the year award".

1. I like it! DU awards for Media Losers.

We could have categories like: Most Amazing Piece of Ignorance; Worst "Performance"; Hack of the Year; and etc.

We could have nominations, votes and send the "winners" little statues and certificates.

4. I've wondered...

why don't they report:

wildfires from the top of a burning tree?
floods from a dinghy on a raging river?
car chases from a chasing car?
avalanches from a ski trail?

just wondering... the hurricane coverage by these IDIOTS in a major storms telling people, "don't do this!" has always seemed ridiculous. will one of them have to be killed to stop the practice?

6. Have you notice their clothing.....

They all have on hats with rims in the front so they can grab onto the rim and make it look like the wind is blowing harder than it really is. While they're rocking their bodies back and forth. There was a guy yesterday who had on a rain jacket with a hood and SHORTS. I guess he got caught in between costume changes. LOL

9. It's keeping the pundits off the air

and entertaining me! The hurricane is horrible and my heart goes out to all those suffering. The coverage is fabulous though! Instead of a weekend broadcasting the Repub spin and replays of the convention, we get moronic reporters! :bounce:
