Odd observation from PBS newshour last night....

There was an in depth report on the 527's. The interviewer asked the talking head why there was so much activity regarding the Democrat 527's - he gave 5 reasons, but none of them really addressed the core reality - that * and his misadministration have been so incredibly offensive and caused so much polarization that many on the left are doing everything they can to get this bozo out of office. Why doesn't the media see this or report on this? Just an incredible misinterpretation of reality - or, worse, purposeful ignoring of the facts.

We saw the movie The Manchurian Candidate last night - really chilling; if ANYONE who sees this movie supports reelection of *, they are insane - or incredibly stupid.

1. Did you notice that they grouped MoveOn in with the liberal 527s?

I need a double check--if they did I have to give them hell--they're playing along with the WH BS...

MoveOn is a PAC, so can't be labelled as "a shadowy group"(which Gwen Ifill is happy to do.) Can't check a transcript, they've only posted the audio--it was a graphic which attracted my attention.

2. The bush* adminstration is just mad because the people who did not

elect him in the first place are coming together to make sure that he doesn't fraudlently end up squatting in the White House for another four years.

It's simply another way of trying to deprive citizens of their right to have a choice in who is running the country.

3. If we had a "real" media, the 527's would go away

The fact that we cannot count on representation of anything other than rightwing spew, we are FORCED to PAY for air timr, in the form of commercials..

No mystery here..

Just as we had to pay to see the things in Michael Moore's movie, we are forced to pay for what reppublicans get FREE..


527's are the only way we currently have to level the field.. The repubs were slow at 527's ONLY because, until now, they have not NEEDED them.
