The Ninth Commandment
The right is supposed to be religious, and they wrap themselves so tightly in their "values". Can't have values without religion, right?

Aren't all these bald faced lies about Kerry in violation of The Ninth Commandment? Are they not bearing false witness against their neighbor?

Did God amend the Ninth Commandment to exclude liberals or Democrats from rightist lies and smears?

Is the Ninth Commandment any less important than the other 9?

I'm so confused. Can someone please straighten me out?

1. Well God amended the fifth commandment to allow them to kill Muslims
He also amended the ones concerning lying and coveting thy meighbors property. That God...such a joker!

Republicans ARE NOT good Christians.

3. What exactly do the Commandments have to do with Christianity?
I realize they are in the Old Testiment of the Bible and Christianity is about the New Testiment and they are both in the same book but Christ is about a whole "New Testiment"

2. Yeah you're right.
But then the GOP and the Religious "Right" have always been hypocrites.

They are "pro-life" (anti-choice) but are pro-war and pro death penalty. how can one be for "life" yet spend a lot of time and effort on killing and laws about killing?

They are for smaller government, but always raise taxes, and add just as many tiers as Democrats do. Albeit for different "areas" of government (Military and Law Enforcement mainly) Go figure...

As for other Christian "values" they violate:

"Love thy neighbor" -- The GOP is a haven for racists, sexists, bigots and any other hater you can think of.

"Do unto others as you would have done unto you." -- This one is funny actually. They are poor winners as they are poor losers. God forbid a Dem actually treat a 'pug as the 'pugs treat us! Oh the screaming and crying and pissing and moaning they do! They are the worst sports.

The whole "free will" stuff in the Bible just doesn't exist to them. Except for this: you have free will, but you must freely give yourself to God and Bush... otherwise you are a sinner and going to Hell. Sounds like blackmail to me.

There are so many other examples of hypocrisy in both the GOP "message" and their interpretation of Christian "values"
