What is the left-liberal equivolent to Newsmax ?

That site seems to be somewhat of a vanguard on the right, close to being on par with individual talk hosts in terms of importance. But there doesn't seem to be any left sight like it that has really broke out of the pack in popularity among us.

When the left tells a blatant lie, it's labeled as such and put on a comedy site. It cuts down on libel suits and helps us all look in the mirror in the morning when we're brushing our teeth.

The right is conscienceless in promoting lies, but lies have a funny way of catching up to the liars and destroying their reputations forever. It'll happen to these guys, too. Some morons will find the lies comfy and cling to them beyond all reason. That's a pretty small number, though, and perhaps in the fullness of time, a doctor may prescribe them some appropriate medications.

Like social security? Think it's a good idea for the government to make sure people can retire?

How about those public schools? Should we fund them better, or just privatize the lot?

Same question on the police and fire services. Should they be taxpayer funded? Or should there just be corporations that you hire if you need protection from crime or explosions?

What are your feelings on kids going to college? Should we have better funded grants and loans to afford state colleges, or should they all be private schools with high tuition -- that you have to pay for completely out of pocket?

Bail out the airlines? or have them go bankrupt, restructure, and then have limited, expensive flights?
