1. Linklater is a lib? Awesome.
He needs to do some more movies. He could do a Dazed and Confused sequel that takes place with the characters in the 80's. Wooderman could be in jail

3. Weird...
Wasn't/isn't Kevin Bacon a Republican? I was always under that impression.

7. The only thing I've heard him say
is "we need a new president". So I assumed he was a democrat.

8. No this is an event/gala
where they launch their "10 week" ad campaign...where they show a different commercial by a different celebrity each week. I think this gala is like the Bush in 30 seconds one, in that they will showcase all of the commercials.

Are they streaming it live again? Does anyone know?

I wish I could go to this. :(

Well...on the bright side, the GOP convention isn't in my town so I can't complain too much.

10. I have noticed that. Nobody ever comes to our area.
We are in between Tampa and Orlando, and no one famous ever comes here.

11. same here...I'm in Texas
This state is pretty much ignored by the Democratic big names.

The one exception right now is Howard Dean. My man will be here tomorrow. I'm in political love. lol

13. He is all over Texas this week-end I hear.
Houston today with Sheila Jackson Lee, then somewhere with Get Out the Vote, then with Morrison and Van Os. Then in West Palm Beach Monday with Betty Castor and Janet Reno. Living in on a plane.

14. I wish we could keep him here
It wouldn't hurt my feelings if he decided to become a carpetbagger to help out the Texas Democrats. Goddess knows we need all the help we can get!
