Thanks to any Duers that responded and spanked me.
As of my last thread I got fired for DUing at work. Several members here told me that it was my own doing, my own fault. I thank you all for steering me to understand.

I went back Tuesday and talked to my boss and admitted I was wrong to be doing politics on his dollar. I promised him that it wasn't an intended breach of company policy. He said he was glad I came back and admitted to wrong doing and he gave me my job back with the same pay. But, I was on a 90 day probation as any new employee is and my puter is now internet disabled.

I knew I was doing my job better the the average bear and I think my firing came from higher ground. In either case, my job is back intact Monday 730am. And my imidiate boss told me(between you and I). I am voting Kerry.

Wow maybe life is good!!!!

4. LOL, Not a radio station. A company that does Boxing sh@t.
I print shirts there and wouldn't box or fight much of anyone. I am just glad that many here told me I was wrong. I went to my ex-boss and explained, admitted, and appologized.

Thanks to you DUers that pointed out to me that I was wrong.

Thank you all again!!!

6. If you got fired for posting here then something is wrong.
If they give you the internet to play with on breaks and lunch then it is wrong for them to limit it by political sites. It IS THIER COMPUTER SETUP. You can't look up satan? GOD, Jesus, is fine?

I am glad you got your job back but do you have a feeling of selloff?

I want this job cause the Dollars are good but, but, bu,,nevermind my integratiy.

I HAVE MY JOB!!!!!

7. All jobs have a feeling of sell off.
But that's what we do. We contract our time to another person in exchange for money and benefits. They have a right to demand a certain level of commitment from us during that time. I guess you'd rather collect welfare.

9. I am happy in my job and if welfare is your choice.
I wasn't being negative or suggesting wellfare. I think its easier to work with others that feel as you do.

I didn't mean to offend you Cleita.

10. Okay, thanks for saying that.
Yes, in an ideal situation, it is easier to work with likeminded people, but not always possible. Give charliebrown a break. He did what he had to do.

11. I get to DU at work
but of course I'm the Union President. As the President, it is part of my job to keep my members informed, politically.

Pretty neat, ha. Part of my job in DUing, and I get paid for it by the company. I do 5 minutes every hour.

If I find an interesting link, as I did Wednesday about the Republican attacks on Viet Vets, I print it, make 30 copies, and place them in each department for my members.

There's nothing like being in charge of a strong Union in a pro-Labor state (Mass.).
