4. I can pick them up at times when I work in the Northern burbs
Unfortunately I did not learn of public radio until I moved to IL. They do a lot of good radio In Packer-land.

5. There's Some Decent Public Radio Around...
I'm not as big a WBEZ listener as I once was and started to scan the dial. There's the Wisconsin network station as well as the Public Station from Northern Illinois University (89.5) that carries the BBC News at night and a lot of the news programs WBEZ doesn't so they can play jazz.

Also on the AM band, WILL in Champaign gets around Chicago fairly good during the day (my father, a U of I alumn, would listen to it all the time) and in the Northern burbs I can get WHA from Madison.

Plus there's gems to be mined on the college stations...Loyola, Northwestern, Northeastern Illinois & U. Of Chicago have some very progressive stations.

Cheers!
