Question on the so called "Food for Oil" program

I continue to hear from cons that the reason that the French and Germans were not on board with the war in Iraq was because of this oil for food program. Well, I've yet to hear any mainstream newspaper or television show cover this, so I am asuming they are once again reaching. Can anyone offer some insight that would prove their claims as bullshit?

Also, I don't seem to remember French intelligence going along with our on the WMD charges, but once again, Cons are making this charge.

subsidiaries are reaping from this war, I wouldn't be fussing too much about whatever real or imaginary oil for food scandal there was going on if I was the Bush cabal.
