FL Eyewitness Death Count Close to 400 Now
Edited on Wed Aug-18-04 03:04 AM by Kire
FL Eyewitness Death Count Close to 400 Now --by Michael Edward (Rumor Mill News Agents Forum, 8-17-4) "...et me spell out the body counts that 6 of us (all retired military and/or law enforcement) went out to confirm today in different areas. These are confirmed bodies in the trucks, restaurant refers, or refer vans, and they are NOT 'missing persons' or animals: Charlotte Harbor areas - 58 dead as of 5pm today; Fort Myers & the barrier islands - 21 deaths as of 3pm today; Punta Gorda - 275+ deaths and escalating each hour; Desoto County - 36 deaths, expected to increase... The current CONFIRMED body count in our 3 county area on the west coast of Florida is near 400 as I write this... Considering most of the trained and experienced personnel and modern equipment from the Florida National Guard are now in the Middle East, JEB THE BUSH dared to send us antiquated equipment that broke down on I-75 driven by untrained personnel who have no idea what to do... There is no Florida National Guard... all the necessary equipment we need is sitting in Iraq or Kuwait right now."

1. I lived in Cape Coral in 1981-82.
SE 11th Terrace off of Del Prado Blvd.

I doubt my old house is still in very good shape, seeing as the eye hit only 15 miles away.

2. They said this about hurricane Andrew, too
That there were hundreds, thousands, maybe tens of thousands of deaths.

Rumor Mill News makes Rense.com look like an paragon of journalistic integrity. In short, they are just plain nuts there; for example, the big cheese of RMN, Raelyn, has started a religion that venerates Princess Diana. And most of RMN was convinced that the planet Nibiru was scheduled to pull up close to the Sun and Earth and return the ancient Gods to positions of authority over their once-and-future slave planet (our own).

Reports like this demand in-depth reporting. I'm glad that you posted it, but I hope this doesn't just fall off the screen. There's either a national scandal taking place, or a lot of death-loving nutcases on the Internet.

I never heard of Rense, I saw it on the Citizens for Legitimate Government. I don't know much about them, either.

live and learn

PS I did a find with my internet explorer, the word jew (and any word that contains those letters together) exists in the document

19. Don't feel bad, Kire
This was originally published elsewhere and brought over to the Rense site. And AFAIC, Rense hasn't been discredited for me. Maybe I'm just ill-informed. :-)

20. This was posted yesterday, linked to Rense. I guess
LegitGov picked it up. I sure would like to see some really credible reporting on this.

26. "Hurricane", "Hurri-COHEN", you tell me.
Actually, I read Rense.com, he usually has some interesting tidbits of information in the mix, but most of his Jew-baiting correspondants are beyond belief.

My brother lives in the Orlando area, and has weathered both Andrew and now Charley. He's been doing disaster reconstruction to some degree for years, since he works for architects and interior designers, consulting on materials costs and arranging sales of furnishings, carpet, etc. If there were 20,000 deaths -- or even 250 -- he would probably know at least a little about it.

It is possible that there has been a cover-up, but I think it lies in the lower part of the probability zone. I'll always be open to listen to well-founded reports about it, but I remain unconvinced.

4. I'd really like to find out the truth.
My Aunt lives in Port Charlotte. I've been in touch with the Red Cross since Sunday night. We have yet to find out if she's dead, alive, missing, injured, in a hospital somewhere - we have no idea and so far the Red Cross seems to be our only chance of finding out where she is. If anyone has any connections in the Port Charlotte area, please PM or email me. I'm in Calif., a bit too far to just hop in the car and go see for myself. Although at this point, I'm actually thinking about it.

28. Thank you to everyone who responded to my post.
And 'whatelseisnew', thanks for the link. I actually stayed up all night, doing Internet searches. Found the Sun Herald and they have a place where you can list missing persons. So my Aunt is now listed there. They also had a Salvation Army link that I went to and was able to list my Aunt there as well. So at least I've been able to put her name and info out there in more than once place. Still no word as of 10:30pm Wednesday night. I swear, I'm about ready to get in my car and start driving. This whole thing is driving me nuts.
On top of this, another Aunt (both of these aunts are sisters to my Mom) had a serious stroke over the weekend and we are having to deal with her situation as well. Whoever said 'when it rains it pours' sure knew what they were talking about.

8. I hope and pray that your Aunt is Ok...
I can't imagine how you must be feeling. Hang in there... with the power out to so many... it is hard for them to communicate.

6. 2 things ... I saw on TV nat. guards passing out goods
Not thousands of guards ...no way to validate.

Second point. On last nights local TV special they made the point "they don't know the number dead yet" since some place have not been reached.

It's too early to say and sad in either case.

12. Yeah Jeb is lying to us...Yeah, it is obvious...
and the most frightening part of all is that it appears they will get away with it.

For example, the trailer park in Punta Gorda. Official obits show 2 deaths:

http://www.sun-herald.com/NewsArchive2/081804/tp26ch26.htm?date=081804&story=tp26ch26.htm

While numerous reports have deputies guarding "stacks of bodies":

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,128885,00.html

And this report has 60 dead:

http://www.sundaymirror.co.uk/news/tm_objectid=14532339&method=full&siteid=106694&headline=200-feared-dead-as-all-hell-breaks-loose-name_page.html

Now, how will they do that?

Well, all the bodies are going into a refrigerated truck and, over time, they could be added into the normal, daily deaths of a region heavily skewed with the elderly.

But if they really try to get away with this, it should be easy to catch them. I mean, it won't be credible to have large numbers of trailer park residents die of natural causes around the same time of Hurricane Charley.

So Jeb: it's decision time. Keep up the lie or come clean in the next day or two. Otherwise, you'll have one big honking lie to keep quiet

13. Where are the pictures?
Eeverybody and his brother has a digital camera these days. If the estimates of casualties is low, then folks MUST take pictures of where bodies are found, staged and stored.

14. Apparently, FEMA and other emergency workers...
keep the press and "sightseers" away from cleanup areas. But don't be surprised if pictures do start surfacing in the coming days. If they do, it will be interesting to see if mainstream news touches them.

17. While Jeb Bush is deficient in many areas...........
This is not one of them.

1. So far, we are at twenty deaths (including traffic accidents and a heart attack from cleaning up afterwards). After all of the missing are accounted for 9no reliable phone service in area yet), I would be surprized if we get over fifty.

2. Several thousand 4,000 National Guard personnel are on duty guarding against looters and dispensing water and ice. The southeast Florida communities (Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach) have sent convoys of police, fire, and medical personnel westwards.

3. While intense, the hurricane was small in diameter, and cut a very narrow path of destruction accross the state. Recovery will be much quicker than from Andrew in the nineties.

4. While it may be politically motivated, W and jeb have pulled out all of the stops on this one and aid is rapidly reaching the area. The state is already cracking down on price gougers and insurance adjustment scams.

25. Someone help regarding Florida:
I noticed a small article on the Tampa Bay AP Florida website Sun or Monday. It noted that the Hardee County Election Officer had died of a heart attack after the storm. The next "County election official" will be appointed by Jeb. Now the story is missing. Can't find info anywhere. If you have a link, please pass it along to us DUers.

Thanks.

29. Sorry, this is just bunk
Nothing about it passes the smell test. I lived through Hurricane Alicia, and while those storms pack a wallop, they just don't kill that many people. Even if they all lived in a trailer park. And I don't see how it benefits anyone to cover up any number of civilian deaths.

On a vaguely related note, the Japanese add to the death toll from Hiroshima when someone from there dies...even now, even if they're 90 years old.
