I saw on CBS News this evening that the White House has whitewashed a EPA report on the air quality at Ground Zero. They pressed the EPA to remove any information that the air was contaminated.

It made me think of a scene from 25th Hour (awesome movie) where Barry Pepper's character is visited by Phillip Seymour Hoffman's character. Phillip Seymour Hoffman's character looks out of the window of Barry Pepper's apartment that overlooks Ground Zero and sees the scary site with the crains moving around piles of dirt. Phillip Seymour Hoffman's character says to Berry Pepper's character that he read in the Times that the air was polluted. Barry Pepper's character says I read the Post and they say the air is fine.
