What the hell has happened to Paul Bremer?

It's like he's disappeared into the memory hole. anyone hear about him these days? is he sitting down and writing a book busting bush's iraq claims?

Now that he's no longer viceroy of Iraq, he no longer exists.

I'm guessing that he's just keeping a low profile -- the more he shows his face, the more people will question who he is and what he was there for, and we can't have that, can we?

3. He cashed his checks..packed up..bugged out

He did what he was sent ther to do.. He passed off the hot potato, and kept to the script.

Like all good soldiers..he has faded away..

When the "heat" has died down, and a "fabulous" re-victory has been claimed, he will be trotted out as a glorious "warrior"..

4. It looks as though he did what Tommy Franks did - hightail it OUTTA

there without even sticking around to see if he closed the door all the way.

Then maybe a year or so later, we'll see him coming out with some book. Anybody remember Jay Garner (I THINK that was his name - the guy Bremer replaced - hard to be sure that even I remember him).

5. Not sure, but I thougt I heard he retired.

If I were him, I'd want to just go back home and hide too. He did his job...whatever it was...and he's back home and done with this mess.
