So I caught a second of Savage walking by my roomates room...
I swear to god if it wasn't a radio I lent him I would have smashed it to fucking pieces. He had this piece of shit on (Steve something or other, Gardener perhaps)who was claiming to have served for 2 months on the swift boat with Kerry. This pissed me off more then that the SwiftBoat Vets for (un)Truth ad. He was basically saying evry single thing about Kerry, all the medals, everything, was a lie, set up by him and (Rasmussen?) the Green Beret he saved in the river. He was even claiming to be quoting from Kerry personal journal (and he got that how?) about how things "really happened".

I think Kerry's fellow crewmates need to be on TV everyday exposing this vile crap.

Now, we all know what a steaming pile of shit RW radio is but this really takes the cake. Sorry for mentioning it here but it was either rant or smash my own radio....

1. Steve Gardener is the only true "crewmate" who doesn't support

Kerry. He was on the first boat that didn't get much action and wasn't with them at the Rasmussen rescue

"So it was with a sense of genuine relief when PCF-44’s Jim Wasser telephoned me last week with the news that Gardner had “rung him up out-of-the-blue” to discuss their shared days together in Vietnam. “It was great” Wasser told me. “You know he fought bravely in Vietnam. He is still a brother. I miss him. I would like to see him.” He then hesitated and went on. “But he has developed a strange, negative assessment of Lieutenant Kerry. It shocked me. His memory is dead wrong. He remembers things so differently.… He has some kind of weird grudge against Lieutenant Kerry.” "

may this guy choke on a pretzel or somethin'

5. He's mentioned on Kerry's website. He wasn't on the boat with
Rassman and the guys from PCF 94. He was on PCF 44, which Kerry commanded from December 1968 - January 1969. He wasn't on the boat that saw heavy action and from which Kerry received the Silver Star and Bronze Star and two Purple Hearts.

Gardner shot up a sampan and killed a child. Kerry threatened to send him up for disciplinary action. There's bad feelings here. About all this guy can attest to is the first purple heart -- and nobody else on PCF 44 agrees with Gardner.

Gardner is insinuating that Kerry didn't do anything heroic -- but he wasn't even on PCF 94. This is just another scumbag.
