Did anybody hear Willie Nelson on Randi Rhodes?
He says he listens to her on satellite radio and when the show ends on satellite he listens to the remaining part on the air america web site.

Randi is a big fan and sounds a little star struck. It was really nice :)

12. A friend of mine has an autograped pic of Willie that says:
Think Good Thoughts, Willie Nelson. It's been 15 years since I saw it but I've never forgotten it. I'm in Nashville and wish we had more artists like him-

4. My respect of Willie is ENORMOUS ...

He backed Dennis Kucinich up with benefit concerts. He knows damn well the Dennis had the policies (liberal) that would help rural America the most.

6. FarmAid
I saw Willie Nelson and Beck play together in Chicago in '98 (I think). Up until then I only knew Willie Nelson as that guy my parents liked. During that show I gained such a respect for him not only as an artist, but as a human being. That's something that only a few musicians can form in their fans.

7. didn't hear much of Willie
I'm a big Randi fan, listen every day, but she didn't let him do much talking. I think she was excited and got a little carried away. I wish I could have heard more from Willie, we get 4 hours of Randi everyday.

8. I sure didn't know he had kids who were draft age
That's disconcerting in this climate, to make an understatement.

9. Willie Nelson-An American treasure
What Ever Happened To Peace On Earth

There's so many things going on in the world
Babies dying
Mothers crying
How much oil is one human life worth
And what ever happened to peace on earth

We believe everything that they tell us
They're gonna’ kill us
So we gotta’ kill them first
But I remember a commandment
Thou shall not kill
How much is that soldier’s life worth
And whatever happened to peace on earth

(Bridge)

And the bewildered herd is still believing
Everything we’ve been told from our birth
Hell they won’t lie to me
Not on my own damn TV
But how much is a liars word worth
And whatever happened to peace on earth

So I guess it’s just
Do unto others before they do it to you
Let’s just kill em’ all and let God sort em’ out
Is this what God wants us to do

(Repeat Bridge)

And the bewildered herd is still believing
Everything we’ve been told from our birth
Hell they won’t lie to me
Not on my own damn TV
But how much is a liars word worth
And whatever happened to peace on earth

Now you probably won’t hear this on your radio
Probably not on your local TV
But if there’s a time, and if you’re ever so inclined
You can always hear it from me
How much is one picker’s word worth
And whatever happened to peace on earth

But don’t confuse caring for weakness
You can’t put that label on me
The truth is my weapon of mass protection
And I believe truth sets you free

(Bridge)

And the bewildered herd is still believing
Everything we’ve been told from our birth
Hell they won’t lie to me
Not on my own damn TV
But how much is a liars word worth
And whatever happened to peace on earth

(c)Willie Nelson

15. Just learned recently Willie wrote Patsy Cline's "Crazy"
I was watching a country songs count down show a few weeks ago, and Crazy was one of the top 5 and they said who wrote it. Apparently, that was Willie's break into CM.

18. Living Legend
Willie is the BEST advert Texas ever had, recognized the world over for not only his musical talents, but his genuine humility and humanity.

Long may this 'outlaw' continue!

The 'outlaws' in the Whitehouse however, are living on borrowed time....

19. FREE WILLIE!!!
The obvious thing for Willie to do is switch from XM radio to Sirius, who broadcast AirAm in its entirety. So why hasn't he? Because he once ENDORSED XM radio, LOL!!!!
