Signs of rightwing desperation from the Yahoo Boards.
A couple of other DU posters have alluded to what is happening on the Yahoo boards, but I have a report with a update.

A few weeks ago the "Top Reader Rated Stories" became Rove-ized. Instead of the most important stories appearing, the stories that dominate are now stories like the one about the kitten being rescued at sea. Iraq has all but disappeared from the list, as have anti-Bush stories. I found myself wondering if those young Republicans I saw in the DNC convention War Room are busying themselves with freeping Yahoo.

Anti-Bush and anti-GOP posts are being deleted at a frenzied pace now and today you can't even "recommend" a anti-Bush post without getting a "Sorry..." message!

Also, I got a warning that I wasn't anonymous, etc. once a few weeks ago when I posted something liberal--I can't remember what. So I am sure I am on some enemies list now.

I remember when we had Free Speech and I am going to work my heart out to get it back. I now know that the rightwingers WILL STOP AT NOTHING--NO DIRTY TRICK IS TOO BIG OR TOO SMALL FOR A REPUBLICAN. And nothing is too evil, either.

1. And nothing is too evil, either.
Fear has a way of making mountains out of molehills... and allowing people to behave in a way that their savior would not approve of... not even a little bit.

3. I listened to a guy on CNN this morning or last night. He is against
Kerry because of his "tax rollbacks". He says his "small" business would benefit from the tax cuts of bush so he can grow. *ahem*

After he blabbered on, the channel put up a list of companies that are AVIDLY supporting BUSH and donated heavily to his campaign:

Yahoo was among that list
Dell
MNBA<---? (credit card company)

A couple others I can't recall. How's that for a boycott list!!

4. And if you invest with a brokerage firm..
the biggest chimp supporters are Fidelity investments and Charles Schwab.

5. It rather boils my blood. I feel like blasting some of these
companies with which I've had to do business. :grr:
