Just whose side is Bush on anyway?
First came the war in Afganistan. This war opened the doors for recruits to Osama's cause and war all over the world. The Taliban are still functioning, and there is secular control really only in Kabul.

Second came the war in Iraq. This war gave Theocrats a chance at control of Iraq, and sure enough they are trying hard. Abu Musab Al-Zarqawi is a terrorist leader with the help of the war in Iraq.

Bush literally made a broadcast for Theocrats all over the world and invited them to fight for the Dominionist cause with the war in Afghanistan, and he handed Iraq to these same people on a silver platter.

Is Bush really fighting for us? Is the GOP really looking out for our best interests? It is plain to see that these people have just made terrorism a much larger problem than it has ever been in history.

1. There are two sides in this war
1) Those who profit from it -- includes Bush, Bin Laden, etc
2) Those who don't. Includes you and me.

2. He's the Manchurian Pretzeldent.
Don't forget the record debt. Almost as though he were intentionally trying to indenture Americans to a wealthy few, hmmm?

Bush's loyalty is not to America. At least, not the America most Americans recognize.

And it's not just Bush; it's the one-two punch of neo-liberals and neo-conservatives: exploit globally, repress locally.

4. I've just been thinking about this
Maybe there IS method in their madness.

We see gross incompetence, unnecessary violence, greed and prejudice from this administration when dealing with Iraq. But what if it's intentional? What if the chaos is intentional, as you say?

This way, their predictions of growing radical Islam become true, thus necessitating their brand of "protection".

The simple-minded say, "See, see? We told you that this was a threat", when in fact all that's happening is that moderate Muslims become outraged and tend to join forces with the only ones who are fighting effectively - the radicals.

5. We are killing off moderation in the Islamic world.
Step one was taking out the secular government of Iraq. Can't have a pan-Islamic fundemental revolution if there is a secular, progressive government in the middle of the region.

The voice of Islamic moderation is being undercut by our actions in the region.

The "war on terror" is the same as the "war on Communism" and the "war on drugs". They're blanket justifications for using military force wherever the wealthy and powerful want it.

It's a scam.
