1. I actually remember reading about this threat right after 911

I just tried googling to see if I could come up with any old articles about threats to these various financial institutions (back in like Oct of 2001) but I didn't snag anything and I am getting sick of looking.

But in any case, I KNOW FOR SURE that I read of threats to financial institutions in the early aftermath of 911...the Washington Post and the NYT's probably already had that old info archived in their own past issues!

when they scapegoated tenet and the entire intell community for their own prtoblems. there was goig to a comeuppance from the intel community

Pakistani security forces have penetrated an al-Qaeda cell in the country, the government says.
Information Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed said the breakthrough had led to seven or eight more suspects being detained in the last two days.

Last month Pakistan arrested a key al-Qaeda suspect, as well as a man it said was an al-Qaeda computer expert.

Sheikh Rashid Ahmed denied that plans for fresh attacks on the US and UK were found on the suspects' computers.
