Why is no media pundit or outlet reminding of Bush's statement
to "Bring em on!" Seems to me that if President Clinton had made such a statement with similar results and loss of life after making such a statement the RW pundits would be all over themselves blaming the author of the statement for the carnage now taking place. Yet all of our media--right and left--is silent on this issue. How far will Americans go to protect their idiot President and his evil administration?

1. Saw it on the news the other night
I wish I could remember which network. But we either watch ABC or CBS. They showed him smirking while making that remark, and it was in pointed juxtaposition with the awful things that had happened that day. I guess it must've been the day the Canal Hotel was bombed.

2. Because the media has become nothing but government cheerleaders!
Stephan Richter of The Globalist was on CBC Newsworld this morning and had lots to say about the way the U.S.A. media has abdicated their responsibilities!

6. Great article! Thanks for the link!
This was my response in the comment area:

This article hits home! The US media might as well be on the payroll of the Pentagon and the White House. They are not reporters, they are regurgitators. In my opinion, they have become lazy, prefer to be fed their lines rather than actually go out and cover the facts. One can only be grateful for news sources from outside the US for their NEWS coverage!

3. No doubt about it.
Half the things Bush says would result in excoriating language from the Right if they had been said by Clinton.

4. Probably for the same reason
nobody wants to point out that the capture of Chemical Ali kind of puts the lie to Rumsfeld's April claims that Chemical Ali had been killed by our noble "coalition" invasion force.

5. They have been
I've seen it at least twice (even though I really haven't been watching much news lately.

And every story on a soldier's death ends with 'This is the __th casualty since the President declared an end to major operations.'
