Has Anyone Else Gotten This Email?
I found in my email this afternoon a mesage from someone (or something) called "Ask Alice." The message had to do with Vietnam Vets who supposedly served with Kerry talking about how Kerry WOULDN'T make a good President! They had names, pictures, etc. Anyway, I responded back to "Alice" this way: "Whatever...Kerry would sure as hell be a better President than the loser we have in there now!" (Something to that effect.) Has anyone here received an email like this??

AUSTIN – Houston homebuilder Bob Perry, a major supporter of President Bush and the Republican Party, is the biggest financial backer of a veterans group seeking to discredit Democrat John Kerry's military service, according to federal records.

Smear Boat Veterans for Bush
The "swift boat" veterans attacking John Kerry's war record are led by
veteran right-wing operatives using the same vicious techniques they
used against John McCain four years ago.

11. Welcome to the Politics of Personal Destruction
Rightwing fanatics would eat their own mothers if it furthered their agenda. Just as rightwing veterans would smear one of their own.

Welcome to DU.

7. Another driving force behind this horse crap about Kerry
is a nutjob named Ted Sampley. Read about this piece of work at http://www.independentsforkerry.org/uploads/media/vvajk.html

More info is at http://www.miafacts.org/prankster.htm

He's the wack job who came up with all the slanders the Bush team used against McCain in South Carolina. Make sure anybody who tries to discredit Kerry's service knows it came from this pusbag.

3. There are 15 that served in country with Kerry - one opposes - if the
email has more than that one person we are talking about commanders who at the time said Kerry was great - or peers that served in 'Nam - but not with Kerry.

Kerry's time in 'Nam waters aboard ship are never referred to by the GOP so I doubt that was in your email.

were on the stage I saw a freeper post: "What's going on ?...I thought only TWO crew members were for Kerry ?"

Hahahaha...When will these sheep realize that republicans are liars ?

8. These war hawks have had a wood on for Kerry
and McCain since they went to Viet Nam in the 80s to find the MIAs.

Putting the rumors of POWs behind us was not on their agenda. They wanted a military return to the country to seek the "victory" that eluded us 30 years ago. The collective wet dream would include nuclear weapons.

Some "patriots" view global politics being akin to a super bowl game...It's all in winning, kicking someones ass, and being #1.

Since we left 'Nam they have posessed a shame and anger that will run unabated 'til we return to "show Charlie we can't be beaten".

Kinda like us Browns fans that repeatedly grumble "Oh yeah ! Wait'll next year".

10. I report all spam to my Internet provider.
ALL spam. I don't open anything from a name I don't know.

And I write a little note with my spam report. So, if AskAlice sends you something else, report it and tell your provider not to allow that email address to send to you again!
