10 Commandments Monument = Idolatry?

I am not Christian, although I am spiritual. There has been a lot of this talk about Roy Moore's 10 Commandments Monument being moved around the country and such. I know this mounment is an establishment of religion and all, but I also think of something else. Seeing the reaction of certain people around this monument, I have to think to myself, does this amount to Idolatry?

Which is the funniest thing about the religious extremists who rally around it, crying and bowing before it as if it is a diety. They are so hellbent on protecting a piece of rock instead of taking the commandments and applying them to their own lives. Funny thing about the 10 Commandments... they are a guide from the almighty as to how you should live your OWN life... not a mandate as to how you think you need to force others to live theirs.

3. Yep. Putting way too much importance on a hunk of rock with

some words carved on it. Why not memorize the Ten Commandments and live by them? If you want to see them regularly, copy them on a card to keep in your wallet.
