9. When right wingers trash Teresa ignore them. The American people have a

basic sense of fairness and they like honesty. They are going to reject the unfair and bigoted attacks on Teresa based on what? - her accent and her willingness to speak her mind? They are overplaying their hand bigtime, just as they did in 92 with their attacks on Bill and Hillary Clinton. They are doing the same thing with questioning Kerry's purple hearts and silver star. No one believes that the military hands out those awards to the undeserving and these kinds of attacks will backfire with undecided voters.

You are right about the medals. My husband got several and a bronze star and I am sure it was not for riding up and down the Delta sight seeing or hiking in the jungle. He was with the 101st in 70 and he doesn't remember toomuch but I am sure he didn't get that bronze and M-16 sharpshooter Medal for hunting squirrel. He threw them all away but they are still noted on his DD214. I think if there were any undecided they decided last night.
