3. Michael Savage's real last name is Wiener.
Wonder why he felt compelled to use a stage name? :P

7. What was rather hilarious tonight was the MSNBC panel -
POOR Joe Scarborough (who's been relatively sober and actually somewhat even-handed this week, must not be feeling well...), the BEST he could do was take some mealy-mouthed potshots at Kerry for going too fast in his delivery. PATHETIC. Beyond that, he had NOTHING to say. He even had to allow that there were many good lines in the speech - but he just couldn't bear to leave it there and admit the speech was great. He had to keep harping on how Kerry spoke too fast.

JEEZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But elsewhere on The Completely And Catagorically Idiotic Superficiality Front: I must say Kerry did himself a favor. It was a long speech. Okay. But it was a long, GOOD speech. And I GUARANTEE you, there will be some people out there in TV-Viewerland who would actually have been pissed if Kerry had gone overtime and the networks had to preempt or delay Jay Leno or something. And a few of those people might actually let THAT sway their votes. There really are some people like that. The type who gets pissed because something interrupted their soap operas. Sad but true.
