Most House races have no polls done. Neither candidate's campaign can afford it.

We could seriously take the House via stealth on Kerry's footsteps, especially if no candidate files against Obama freeing him up to campaign in certain target districts.

There are more than a few very intelligent souls that post here and I for one enjoy what they have to say. I foresee an era of great growth and development and enlightenment in America's future and feel DU will contribute to that.

to insure that we do indeed win in November.
And then we need to start organizing on a grass roots level to take back the county commissioner posts, the state rep seats, the congressional seats. And maintain them.
We have to stop bickering amongst ourselves and STAY ON MESSAGE.
Agitate, organize and plan... Become stockholders of the corporations and influence them at shareholder meetings.... Get out there and continue to hold the feet of politicians to the fire.
Be watchdogs and join ACLU, Common Cause, Americans United for Separation of Church and State.
But most of all, stay informed. And keep talking to people. Get them to vote again and make being a citizen of this country something to be proud of. And that doesn't mean just putting an American flag on the back of your gas guzzling SUV.

Addition:
DU could be a great grassroots organizing tool. The numbers of new posters on here in the last few months seems to indicate to me that more people are angry at politicians and interested in making changes. We can be a great force, if we all get out and work it.

November is just the beginning. If we want progressive values front and center on the agenda, we need to keep Kerry's feet to the fire.

I think DU will be even more important after the election, if we can manage to avoid resting on our laurels. I'd hate to see us turn into FreakRepublic after the Chimp stole office.
