Anyone see Letterman last night?

He was mad that no Democrat called Bush* "A Lying Weasel" He also made the comment that Terresa Kerry was going to be the Godsend they have been praying for. He played a segment called a new Bush* word. Can't remember the word now but the expression on Bush*'s face was priceless. Dave is most definitely on the Kerry bandwagon. He is probably worth watching for the next few months. Humor goes a long ways in bringing out the truth.

Moore was on and that was superb! It's so funny and ironic how we have to go to comedy shows to get the truth. I wonder if the brass at cbs is cringing when they hear Letterman? Course, they have Dan Rather, too. Isn't he the only anchor that doesn't shade the truth?

faster under Bush, but it's been progressing that way for some time. In any totalitarian society, only the comedians have permission to tell the truth.

2. The George W. Bush New Word was

expecation (instead of expectation). At least, that's how I remember him pronouncing it in the video clip.


Also, I think Letterman says he wants Kerry to open his acceptance speech by calling Bush a "lying weasel".

4. He said he thought Teresa Kerry was going to be the Godsend

they have been praying for, I think, because she shoots from the hip. Kerry's emotional maturity & intelligence won't provide much fodder for the late-night comics -- not that Teresa Kerry isn't intelligent (she most certainly is), but those who speak from the heart & let the chips fall where they may can readily provide ammunition for comic relief.
